Kunle Elebute

Honorary Advisor to the Board

Kunle Elebute is the Senior Partner, KPMG in Nigeria and Chairman, KPMG Africa. He has over 39 years of professional experience advising clients in the private/public sectors in Nigeria, West and Sub-Sahara Africa.

Prior to assuming the role of the Senior Partner, Kunle served as head of various sectors including the Financial Services and more recently Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare. He has also led various strategic and transformational projects for local and global clients.

He was admitted as a Partner and head of the Financial Services Audit practice in 1996, was made responsible for the Privatization and Emerging Practice in 1999 and led the Financial Advisory Services practice which included corporate finance, transaction and forensic services for the West African sub-region from 2002 – 2008. He became head of Advisory Services from 2008 to 2016 with responsibility for Deal Advisory, Management Consulting, Risk Consulting and Information Technology Advisory.

Kunle has a degree in Economics from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom (1982), qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1986 and he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He is a member of the KPMG Global Board, as well as the KPMG Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMA) Board. Kunle serves on various not-for-profit Boards such as the Population Services International, Nigerian Economic Summit Group and American Business Council.

Chiamaka Ezenwa

Interim Chairman and Board Member

Chiamaka Ezenwa is currently a Managing Director at Exotix Advisory, a leading financial advisory firm solely focused on developing markets.

Prior to that she worked at FBN Capital, the investment banking subsidiary of FBNH, one of Nigerian’s largest banks as the Head of Equity Sales as well as the Vice President spearheading their Equity Capital Markets business. Chiamaka also spent seven years with Morgan Stanley London’s Global Capital Markets division focusing on equity financing transactions for Sub-Saharan Africa, UK and Northern European clients.

She has originated and executed several private and public financing and advisory transactions across various jurisdictions for international and Nigerian corporations. She has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Economics and Management from the University of Bristol and a postgraduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Chiamaka’s extracurricular interests include reading, writing, media, venture investing, mentoring, theology and women’s affairs. She is the founder and lead facilitator of two women’s groups, SHEmerge, for senior executive women and DYP for mentoring junior professional women. She was also an Executive Producer of an award winning docufilm called Tainted Canvas.

Mohammed Usman Abdul-Razaq

Founder and Board Member

Mohammed Abdul-Razaq, the founder of Dudden Hill Holdings, has c.15 years of experience in project finance advisory & refinancing, public sector advisory, mergers & acquisitions, capital raises (equity & debt), corporate restructuring & refinancing and strategic financial advisory for private and public clients in sub-Saharan Africa.

He has successfully executed and closed 25+ transactions across 8 countries in sub-Saharan Africa with cumulative transaction value of over US$10bn across multiple sectors with core transaction expertise across Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Aviation, Telecommunications, Technology, Consumer & Financial Institutions sectors within Sub-Saharan Africa.

He is the founder, Dudden Hill Foundation (2019 – Present): A non-profit organization focused on equipping Nigerian undergraduate students with the skill to succeed in the corporate and entrepreneurship space.

He is a Choiseul Laureatte and was nominated as 10th in the 2021 top 100 African Economic Leaders of Tomorrow under 40 by the Choiseul Institute. He also serves as the youngest nominee in the top 10 and the only Nigerian.

He is also an Executive Director, Bridge House College, Lagos Nigeria (2008 – 2021): Nigeria’s Pre-eminent Sixth Form College. Graduated from Manchester Business School with a MSc degree in Economics & Finance.

Funlola Abe Folukoya

Board Member

Funlola Abe Folukoya is a 15-year veteran of the Oil & Gas industry, having started her career on the Commodities Trading Desk at Morgan Stanley. She currently heads the Sub-Saharan African origination business within global oil major bp’s trading division. Her professional career has taken her across the world from London to New York to Ghana, where she briefly led Jumia’s Ghana operations.

She received her MBA from Harvard Business School & graduated from Imperial College, London with a degree in Mathematics with Management. Funlola is an avid investor in African startups and is passionate about leveraging technology for the development of Africa’s young and talented population. Funlola is happily married & lives in the UK with her family.

Kabiru Rabiu

Board Member

With about 15years of management experience in the commoditiessector and working in large conglomerates, Kabiru Rabiu is the Group Executive Director for BUA Group – one of Nigeria’s largest foods, mining and infrastructure conglomerates.

A dynamic individual and strategic thinker, Kabiru Rabiu is responsible for strategy and innovation across the Group and its several subsidiaries as well as ensuring efficient management and investment of Group’s resources vis-à-vis Assets and Liability Management, Operational Efficiency & Risk Management.

Prior to his appointment as Group Executive Director, BUA Group, Kabiru held various management positions at Nigeria Oil Mills where he left as General Manager in November 2008 to become the Managing Director at the newly incorporated BUA Oil Mills – a position he held until his appointment as Group Executive Director, BUA Group in 2010.

With an MBA in International Business from the American Intercontinental University, UK; Kabiru also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Webster University, London. Kabiru Rabiu has attended various courses on Corporate Strategy, Finance, M&A, Risk Management, etc at top schools across the world including the prestigious Harvard Business School and The London School of Economics and Political Science.

An avid sportsman and philanthropist, Kabiru sits on the Boards of various publicly listed and privately owned companies in Nigeria.

Maryam Augie-Abdulmumin

Board Member

Executive Director of Illmi Children’s Fund, Child and Gender Policy Advocate, Businesswoman, Nigeria.

Ms. Maryam Augie-Abdulmumin, the Executive Director/ Founder of ICF, is an inspiring woman with a passion for humanity. She has devoted her time in the thoughtful and careful planning of her education tackling initiative, which provides a model to bridge the funding gap for basic education of the millions of out-of- school children in Nigeria.

Since its inception, ICF has provided access to basic education for about 24.8% of the children on its database. It’s mobile and web app leverages technology and grassroots driven crowd funding to reduce the number of Nigeria’s more than 10 million out-of-school children.

Prior to founding Ayahay Foundation (which was the precursor to ICF), Maryam had gained extensive legislative and policy framework development experience at Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC). She also worked at the Merger and Acquisition division at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Also, Ms Maryam gained vital experience working as an investment banker at BGL securities.

Ms Maryam earned an exceptional degree in Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and a B.Sc. Business Administration specializing in International Business. Her passion for community development, child advocacy is apparent in her yearly programmes and philanthropic efforts.

Sam Ochonma

Partner Corporate Communications

An alumnus of SAE Institute, Cape Town and Cambridge Judge Business School, Sam is an exceptional leader, empath, visionary and an excellent creative with platinum experience in corporate communications across various industries. He spent the last decade working with a number of advertising agencies in South Africa and across Nigeria, after which he made a move to the client side starting with the oil and gas industry. He joined Oando Plc. where he rose to become the Creative Lead, acquiring great prowess in the area of business leadership. From there, he went on to Enyo Retail and Supply, assuming the role of the Head, Corporate Communications.

Sam has worked on brands across different sectors as Finance, Oil and Gas, State Governments, Telecommunications, among others; garnering multiple experiences and superlative expressions.

Tirthank Shah, CFA

Partner Education Technology

Tirthank Shah is a seasoned finance and management professional with 15 years of experience across financial services as well as training. He is a founder of Northstar Learning Solutions, an ed-tech firm based out of India focused on applied finance. He has extensive experience in global investment banking and private equity.

He is a Senior Advisor to WaneGlobal Investment Holdings, a family office based out of Abu Dhabi; ACS Capital, a boutique investment bank based out of Senegal, and Medina Digital Finance, a Pan African fintech company based out of Kenya. Prior to this, he was a part of the senior leadership team at TresVista Financial Services, a leading KPO based out of India.

Stephen Kimingi

Partner Africa Strategy

With a background in investment advisory services, Stephen is passionate about human capital development. He is a founder and director of TAJIRI Capital, a multidisciplinary advisory firm with presence in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. He has specialised in the development and promotion of projects in the energy and agricultural sectors.

Through his experience over the past decade, Stephen has the entrepreneurial skills and traits that he would be well positioned to pass on and nurture through various youth engagement platforms offered by the Dudden Hill Foundation.

Daniel Ajibola

Partner Legal

A legal professional with years of experience, Daniel is a well of insight in the legal playing field, providing sage advisory in corporate affairs. He has had a solid track record profferring legal solutions through his corporate and commercial practice, building formidable competence in legal and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, oil and gas law, commercial dispute resolution and commercial negotiation and drafting. Daniel displays a deep understanding of business secretariat processes, Internal control systems and corporate governance frameworks, possessing a strong industry network and an impeccable working experience.

Daniel is widely recognized by superiors and colleagues for possessing a "can-do" spirit and the ability to handle tasks from commencement to implementation with multiple awards of endorsement like The Young African Leaders Initiative Award Certificate issued by the YALINETWORK in recognition of the successful completion of a course on 'Understanding Human Rights' (2016), Law Breed Foundation Law School Scholarship Award, etc.
